About Elite Franchise Research

Helping investors make smarter, more confident franchise acquisitions.

Our Story

Elite Franchise Research (EFR) was born out of real-world experience. After United Franchise Group and its CEO, Ray Titus, went through the due diligence process while selling a large franchise brand, a major gap became clear. Although many firms were involved, most lacked true franchise expertise, yet they charged by the hour, which extended timelines and increased costs. EFR was created to bring deep, operator-level franchise knowledge to investors, private equity groups, and family offices evaluating franchise acquisitions.

EFR approaches due diligence from the franchise side, where it matters most. Our experienced team conducts a systematic and comprehensive review of a franchise system and delivers a clear, informed opinion on the transaction. Legal and financial advisors are still essential, but EFR focuses exclusively on franchise operations, performance, and risk. We analyze everything from legal documentation and market dynamics to sales performance, unit economics, technology, training, franchisee support, and future growth opportunities. The result is a complete franchise purchase checklist paired with executive-level insight.
